Honda has launched an updated version of the Aviator scooter in India.



The Aviator gets a new brown colour for its seat and inner panels, front chrome cover, console cover garnish, halogen headlamp, garnished instrumental panel, crystal clear lens, sweeping side indicators, a body-coloured grab rail and a 3D wings emblem. Other features include a telescopic fork front suspension, 20 litres of under-seat storage space, a maintenance-free battery, five-spoke 12-inch silver alloy wheels, tubeless tyres, an optional 190 mm front disc brake and a combi-braking system.

The scooter is powered by a 109 cc, single cylinder, air-cooled petrol engine that produces 8 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 8.77 Nm of torque @ 5,500 rpm. The engine features Honda Eco Technology (HET).

The Aviator gets a new Silver Strand Metallic body colour in addition to three existing shades - Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Sunbeam White and Pearl Ingenious Black.

The Aviator is available in two variants:

• Standard - Rs. 50,863
• Deluxe - Rs. 56,209

Wish it were 125cc. I highly recommend Aviator, a great alternative to the wave of Activas.

Seriously wish it was with a more powerful engine than the piddly 100cc unit that Honda has been offering since Donkeys years
There has been news that the PCX150 will be launched in our market since last one year. Any update on that? I sincerely hope Honda launches it this year
