FEAR THE BLACK - Pulsar 180 Dtsi only!!!

i m the proud owner of Pulsar 180dtsi all black !! and this is a stunning ROCK SOLID BIKE ! I am starting this new thread especially for pulsar 180 dtsi FANS

It has mind blowing power amongst most of the indian bikes and is efficient 48/54 kmpl!
i have done almost 5000 km on this bike and taken it to Konkan, mumbai for long trips !! it has amazing performance!! it has no clutch/gearbox issues and the gear box is silken smooth then APACHE (driven it for about 100km)
also the built and paint quality is EXCELLENT !! no rattles from plastic parts like in karizma !
so any one who wants power/mileage/style JUST GO FOR IT!!!

ur suggestions / queries /views /comparisions are welcome !!

1) isnt you bike rusting on the silencer, the part which is welded to the main frame near the pillions leg rest.

2) is the black paint scrapping off from the engine.

3) which engine oil are you currently using ?

NO NOT AT ALL INFACT IT IS AS NEW !! I APPLY POLISH TO MY BIKES BLACK ENGINE PARTS !
AND THE OIL IS A STANDARD 4T OIL
BUT I FILL IN ONLY SPEED PETROL .....thats what keeps it revving

You mighte want to stop the wax polishing on engine parts - they're known to catch fire because of the wax+heat combination. In fact polish manufacturers even caution abt this on the cans/tins

No offenses but why are you asking such questions Rev? My friend also owns a 180 DTSi v2, all black, and he's never faced such problems.

Nice bike Prashant, very good one. The mechanics will change the engine oil( they have to do it as standard part of dervicing), but you could have it changed every 1500 kms as well if you rev the bike hard (just a suggestion).

Enjoy!!!
