Great. If Bajaj decides to launch the 220 next year, then we can watch the clash of the Titans. HH is prepping it's next arsenal for a before-march-07' launch. Let's see.

Yes. HH has some arsenal up it's sleeve. The much touted 350cc undersquare single. Perhaps HH has dumped the original carb'd version, and is going FI. Originally, it was supposed to be launched by this year-diwali. Now, let's see...

I have doubts about thiss.

Btw - wasnt the 220 from Bajaj - coming with the same look as in the pics ? now they gave it to the 180 ? So what will the 220 look like ? Similar or does Bajaj have something more up its sleeve ?

Good move. Will help the 180 owners stand out from the crowd of 150s buzzing around.

No need to doubt. I've seen the engine layout from the company workshop manual of the said 350, myself. But it was carb'd. The bike was codenamed "Dream". Expected at 1.4 lacs. Since the advent of the Glamour FI, HH has dumped the idea of going carb'd, it seems. It's unclear now what their intentions are. But we'll know soon enough.

And BTW, the 220 was supposed to have the same body, except with a front quarter panel. Regarding the 180, the same design was displayed at the auto expo. Cost cutting via component sharing. How else can they price it so attractively...?

There's one grouse, though- the grips on the new 180 and the concept 220 are the same as before. I hate those spiked grips. Great for short trips, but once you hit the highway, your palms get real worked up.

I am not a very bike person, but i liked the design of the new 180.. the rear looks cool to me ! Its different from other bikes, plus introducing the digital speedo in indian bikes, a good move !
