Nope.
There is no sufficient space left out between the tire and engine (also with the center stand I suppose)

Hope its as much as fun the reviews say.
JPM, Have you taken delivery of the bike?
What accessories did they give you, apart from the Cargo Box?

I might take delivery today. I have paid for the adventure kit, but not sure what accessories are part of the kit.

Regards

Yeah. I took delivery last week. In my place, the RTOs havent started the registration process yet.

I got the cargo box alone along with the bike - total 40,400INR

I added a Side Stand for around 800 INR. Bought a Studds Honda Steelbird for 1.3K.

I wanted to add a under guard and headlamp guard but the dealer didn't have them in stock. So waiting for them. I am not sure what is included in the adventure edition.

Btw, Be prepared for the attention! While on the roads everyone gives a cursory look; then they realize this looks strange and stare again!

Enjoy your Navi!

Waking up an old thread!
I just wanted to share a thought.
Is it wise to modify my fifteen year old Activa into a Navi?

You can better try investing in restoring the motorcycle to factory spec as I believe your retest is up soon.

But if you were willing to convert the same to a Navi then you need to rework a lot of things as AFAIK both motorcycles do not share a chassis. And as learnt from experience custom fabrications always pose a question of reliability, especially in India.

Cheers

Personally I don't think it's worth it. Also you will have issues with RTO/cops.

Re: Honda Navi: A scooter disguised as a bike

I completely agree to the above posts, it was just a passing thought.
I thought it would be a nice project if both the Activa and the Navi shared the same footprint. It's not really worth it if it's too much of a cost, effort and trouble

Re: Honda Navi: A scooter disguised as a bike

Waking a two year old thread.

I am enjoying the Navi to the full. I use it mainly for commute and most of the times with no pillion. The short wheelbase will make it very convenient to pass between the vehicles in Bangalore traffic.

Wanted to know whether its possible to retro-fit combi braking system available on the new Navi. And how good it will be as I use the front brake most of the times except for emergency when both brakes are applied.

May be will also just buy the metal plate on the exhaust with a hope that its a direct fit.

Want to increase the handle-bar reach so that I can slide a little back on the seat. How will this affect the handling?
