This Akula310 concept is a tribute to TVS' race heritage:


Akula means 'shark' in Russian:


It gets a carbon fibre body:


USD forks and radial calipers:


It's built on a highly stiff space frame chassis. In addition, it gets an Aluminium sub frame and a cast alloy swing arm:


Even though the TVS hasn't revealed its specs, this bike surely packs in some serious fire power:




A fully functional digital speedo, on-board gyro camera and a steering damper (for additional stability) are also present:

It is the racing interpretation of the company's recently launched Apache RTR 200:



It's powered by a 212.4 cc, 4 valve, fuel-injected engine. It also gets twin oil coolers, twin straight flow air filters and twin free flow exhaust tips:





Telescopic front suspension and a mono-shock gas-filled rear suspension:

I saw the 450fx during Raid De Himalaya. I'll try to fish out pictures or videos if i have. Looked very purposeful during the raid. What do we need to do to deserve these bikes. Cmon TVS launch it already!.

TVS seems to have really wowed the Expo with some really cool concepts. The Akula just looks great and if one forgets who the manufacturer is, then it could be mistaken for a product from any of the biking greats in the world. Kudos to TVS

Surely this is one manufacturer who really puts on their engineering muscle to the best of use and hope they do well in the real world as well.
