This British motorcycle manufacturer showcased its next-gen Bonneville line-up:


High Points:

• Next-gen of the Bonneville T120, Street Twin and Thruxton R were showcased.
• These get an all-new chassis and suspension design.
• Each of these 3 bikes gets some styling changes, engine upgrades and promise a better aural experience.
• Street Twin is priced at Rs. 6.90 lakh. Deliveries start from March 2016. Available in 4 colours - Cranberry Red, Aluminium Silver, Jet Black and Matt Black.
• T120 is priced at Rs. 8.70 lakh. Deliveries begin from April 2016. Available in 4 colours - Lava Red, Cranberry Red / Aluminium Silver, Jet Black, Jet Black / Pure White.
• Thruxton R's prices have not been revealed. It will be available from July 2016. Available in Diablo Red and Silver Ice.
• Bonneville is named after the salt fields in Utah, where Triumph set a world land speed record in 1956.

Bonneville T120 (Rs. 8.70 lakh ex-showroom Delhi):




This bike gets an all-new 1200cc high torque, 8 valve, parallel twin engine:


ABS is standard:


105 Nm of torque (@ 3500 rpm). It features a six-speed transmission, lighter crankshaft, higher compression and is liquid cooled:







Twin skinned chrome exhaust headers and peashooter style muffler:



Street Twin (Rs. 6.90 lakh ex-showroom Delhi):


Gets an all-new high torque 900 cc engine:














It delivers 80 Nm of torque (@ 3200 rpm). The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and uses ride-by-wire fuel-injection and engine management system:

This cafe racer's design is inspired from classic Thruxton motorcycles of the '60s. (It is also available with a fairing):




It's powered by a 1200 cc which produces 112 Nm of torque (4950 rpm):

I've been searching the net for detailed pics of the T120. It looks gorgeous! 6 speed transmission, dual discs up front, Liquid cooled, 1200 cc.. looks like they brought it to beat the Harley 48 and other 1200cc from that range.
Wish there were the dual coloured ones at the Expo.
I'm seriously trying to manage funds for this one!
