The fifth edition of the Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal is scheduled to be held between April 25 and May 9, 2016.



The ride, which will be flagged off from Lucknow on April 25, 2016, will see 30 riders covering more than 2,000 kilometers over 15 days. It will pass through Bhairhawa, Pokhra, Kalopani, Muktinath, Tatopani and, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nagarkot, Chitwana and return to Lucknow. The riders will travel across the winding roads leading to Pokhra, explore Jomsom, which until recently was just a trekking trail, experience an extreme off-road trail leading to Muktinath, ride along the Tibetan plateau to Kodari, visit the Chitwan National Park and ride to Lumbini - the birthplace of Buddha.



The route consists of, twisty mountain roads, slushy off-road trails, gravel tracks, water crossings, narrow suspension bridges and straight stretches through forests.

Hello. Can anyone tell me if a '94 CI 350 can handle this trip? I know it is an excellent city commuter, but I have my reservations for uphill climbs. It loses steam on slopes and I find myself downshifting and accelerating for the most part.
