what do you mean by i should have started at 500 km. whats the reason.but i did occasionally accelerate to a higher speed while riding and then again slowed down to the regular cruising speed.

Dot worry thats th resonance frequency happen on my ZMA too, basically ata particular rpm the bike vibrates the most, but there is no vibration below & above this rpm, also this will become less over a period of time (might not go totally) but thats fine. I Repeat start ripping your bike else it will be a slow couch & mileage only bike wrt to other 180s

i mean slowly touch 80 then after a while 90 etc..

dude i dont know if its psycologicaal or what but after reading all this i tried to accelerate and it felt as if the acceleration sucked compared to other pulsars.

so is it true that if i didnt rev before 1500 kms that my bike wont perform.honestly i dont believe any of that stuff but youu said its no use now and all so i was wondering...

Even I cant prove it technically but one of the guy in pune who had bought ZMA around teh same time I did & while I was getting not more than 36kpl this fella was getting 50 :o & we did notice that his bike was slow.

Anyways after my pulsar I used Breake in technique on my ZMA than runin i.e. after 500 kms I started taking her by 10-15 kph more by every 100 kms.

Just do gradual speeding, as for you dont worry start ripping her & get rid of her bad habit of good mileage

i've a P180.The service guys were putting 20w40 oil all the time and i notice that the oil was just evaporating from it... i dint know that the oil will run dry that fast and i drove a long distance w/o oil, my engine got seriously screwed.i've changed to 20w50 .. now its running perfect... never try 20w40 on p180..castrol gtx is 20w50.

As I had said in anotehr post, try to get Fusch oil, its an import but heard its good and has all teh wierd JASO etc certifications. Or Mak one from BP or so. Else, if you can eat a bajaj engineer's head and do post what he has to say abt using Castrol GTX or similar 20W50 oil.

Yes it was Fuches Silkolene & it matches the P180 requirement to the 'T' used it for around 10-12k on my P180. Its a good engine oil better than what BAL used to put but then I found Power 1 to be better.

@revtech: Sorry Dude still havent check with pro biking here :( will let you know as & when I know
