Hero MotoCorp has re-appointed Pawan Munjal as the company’s Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Pawan Munjal has been leading Hero MotoCorp for several years now, and his current tenure would be expiring on September 30, 2016. The Board of Directors has thus re-appointed Mr Munjal for a period of 5 years, starting from October 1, 2016.

Additionally, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer has made multiple top-level management changes. Vikram Kasbekar, who currently heads the Operations and Supply Chain department, has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors. Mr Kasbekar has more than four years of experience to his name in the field of Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and Project Engineering.

Hero MotoCorp has also appointed Neerja Sharma as the Company Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer. She comes to the company from Cairn India, where she served as Director - Assurance, Communications and Company Secretary since June 2008. She has over 25 years of experience in the domain.

Talking about the changes, Pawan Munjal has claimed that the senior level management of Hero MotoCorp will continue to aggressively expand the business, while maintaining highest standards of governance.
