You are right. Thanks for pointing out

2. The Mirror adjustments were either too tight (left) or too loose (right ones). I never got a perfect setting while riding. My wife does not complain about this Either the right mirror when it falls is perfect for her height or she does not use mirror altogether.
3. Not flood friendly. Over here in Chennai, as soon as the water level on the road reaches above 4-5 inches but well below the silencer, the clutch starts to slip causing the rider to raise the throttle to get decent traction.
100% agreed.
1) Amaron holds good (far better) than OE Amco. We had Amaron in Scooty Pep as 3rd replacement battery and never faced any issues even with very limited usage.
2) Adjustment range is very limited (same fate with Pep as well) One of my friend went for TVS Jupiter RVMs which has a decent range of adjustment (spoiling the looks)
3) I'm a victim myself

Covid Lockdown hibernation update:

Scooter was left in hibernation for over a year and took a little DIY effort to bring her back to life

This was the condition after 1 year hibernation

Re: Black Streak Tale - TVS Scooty Streak Ownership Review

Hello,

Wanted to know if non-TVS/Streak rear view mirrors fit my Scooty Streak. I am asking this because one of the mirrors has become loose and does not hold still, I have taken it to the local mechanic and service center, unfortunately, both of them could not fix it and asked me to replace the mirror. I went and checked TVS Spare parts, and they informed that the spare parts won't be available for this vehicle and asked me to buy the Honda Activa's mirror or any third party.

Yes, most of the OE mirrors are direct fit. If you are going for aftermarket ones, check if the thread is M10 (Few aftermarket mirrors come with different thread sizes, which will require additional adaptors)
