Just an information.
Gladiator spokes are little difficult to procure and people quote a premium now a days. The best alternative is from Hero (Honda) Splendor.

Yamaha RX OE Drum brake (Both Front & Rear) : HH Splendor Front wheel spokes
Yamaha Gladiator Front Hub : HH Splendor Rear wheel spokes

Shogun is a different league and can't be compared against RX100. To me, the best pair to compare is 135 5 speed and Shogun.

That's one good looking bike, great work Mr. Boss! I don't think there is a more nostalgic bike than a Yamaha RX. Reminds me of my RXG during college days.

My two cents:
1. RD replica handle bar - Get a matt black custom wide handle, that's what we used to call it back in the day, and you can adjust the width as per your requirement (Body frame, driving style etc).

2. Rear reg plate swap (to smaller, single line plate) - This is purely a personal opinion, the single plate can at times look a bit childish and I am not sure about the legality as well.

Boss - Nice job done quickly. Its indeed a "Red Candy". I was transferred to a distant past of 1986 when I saw RX100 for the first time in the Escorts Dealers place in Trivandrum.

Was indeed glad to see a "working Autolube"

Only wake up call was the "disk brake" & the Non OE rear shocks

Rear shocks will be replaced with OE stuff. I placed the order awaiting stock from a known and trusted source.
I got used to the disk brakes in recent past and the same spoiled me I must admit

Ah! What a Beauty you have created. Takes me back to 1988 when I purchased my first brand new RX 100. Looking at your lovely Red Candy makes me want to own one again.

When the fresh stock reaches the dealer, it is our responsibility to make them run out of stock. Got all 3 pairs last evening.

Could you elaborate how did u carry out the painting process from start to finish.

When i painted my rx 135 tank, the color and paint faded in 6 months..

Tinkering (dent, bend, leakage, etc) --> Sand Blast --> Final tinkering (if required) --> Putty --> Primer --> Baking --> Primer --> Baking --> Base Color --> Baking --> Final Coat --> Baking --> Clear coat --> Baking --> Air Dry --> Polish

My other bike was painted over 3 years ago and still it shines like a brand new bike

Fixed this handlebar and riding posture is on the better side, but I'm not satisfied with the looks. I will be switching back to OE handlebar soon.

You did the right thing by going back to OE Handle

My suggestion would be that you can try and rise the HB by a using risers if you require handle on a higher position.
