Royal Enfield has increased the prices of the Meteor 350 by Rs. 25,000.

The Meteor 350 was launched in November last year. The bike is available in three variants - Fireball, Stellar and Supernova, which now cost Rs. 1.99 lakh, Rs. 2.05 lakh and Rs. 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Powering the Meteor 350 is a new 349cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.2 BHP @ 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm @ 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

With the latest price hike, the Meteor 350 range now overlaps with the recently launched Classic 350, which starts at Rs. 1.84 lakh.
What a misleading headline! The price has been hiked by Rs. 7,000 on each variant. I am not sure how that amounts to Rs. 25,000. Here is the proper source with the link for the same.

Rising bike prices, rising fuel prices, now that team bhp also has cycling in the forum, time to explore more pedal power. Wish RE offers more value for the money with features.

The company stated that the prices of its motorcycles and scooters will increase by Rs. 2,000, depending on the model, variant and market. The price hike will help the company offset the rising commodity prices.

This will be the fourth price hike by Hero MotoCorp over the course of a year, with the most recent increase coming in September 2021.

BMW had hiked the prices of both models back in August last year, just weeks before the announcement of the 2022 model range.

The bikes are powered by a 313cc, single-cylinder engine that produces 33 BHP @ 9,500 rpm and 28 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission via a slipper clutch. The bikes come equipped with a ride-by-wire system.

The G 310 R competes with the KTM 390 Duke, while the G 310 GS rivals the KTM 390 Adventure.

Re: BMW G 310 R & G 310 GS prices hiked by Rs. 5,000

For a BMW tag, 5K is negligible and we never know, if we are lucky and can negotiate on the insurance cover, we may recover that 5K too
I like the 310 Twins, but the only parameter that puts me away will be the maintenance cost. I see a 310 GS in my community and could see how comfortable the rider is when he drives it. Very few bikes give you that feel with just the looks of seeing it driven.
Also, one thing I would also add a remark is, we should also start mentioning CB300R is a competition to these list of bikes as with performance and cost they are more or less in same category. Once after taking a test drive of CB300R I cannot stop raving about it. If i wanted to buy a 310 Twins, only reason could be the BMW label or if I am good with a honda label, I will eyes closed go for the CB300R.

The W800 seems to be priced aptly now considering the discounts. People who bought it earlier might not take this news well!

I was very interested in the W800, but couldn’t even get the Langford Road guys in Bangalore to tell me if and when one would be available to even look at, let alone test ride. They claimed there was one in whitefield ‘maybe’ But simply weren’t interested in following up, although I did get to test ride the Z900 while I was there.

That was a few months ago. Must look this up again. Thanks for sharing.

That is one sweet deal. This should make it the best imported modern classic motorcycle to buy in India. I don't think there is any competition at this new lowered price point.

Just an update, I’ve been told the discount is on the on-road price, not ex showroom. Doesn’t really make sense to me but I’m making further enquiries.

Re: The new bike / scooter price check thread - Track price changes, discounts, offers & deals

Update: on further enquiry, this is what I’ve been given to understand. That the discount is indeed on ex showroom BUT because the prices are fixed on Vaahan, the taxes and the rest stay the same. A tenchicality as far as I’m concerned.

So effectively the 2L is on the on-road price.

Perhaps this was known to others but I found it a little weird and less-than-transparent.

Anyway, for anyone interested, subtract 2L from the on road price in your respective state.

These are 2020 bikes from what I hear. Unsold inventory from the very first batch they brought in.
