Rumour: Honda to launch 150cc cafe-racer in India

Finally, something for the enthusiasts from Honda. The new 150CC bike released in Thailand has been named CB150r ExMotion. Retro styled LED headlamps, high handle bars, and a rectangular tank makes it look butch.
Hopefully, it will be released in India pretty soon and at an economical price point.

Let HMSI recover from the shock of discontinuing the CBR 150R/250R and let Honda's bold attempt the Navi and the Cliq start selling in decent numbers first

Its also like crying "WOLF"' for the umpteen time now. For the record there has been countless HIGH HOPES in the past as well.. including something called a mystical Mahindra "Cevalo".

I cant understand from what angle does this look like a Café Racer. Its got more of a Street Fighter look. I am sure for the Indian market, the bike will lose the LED headlight and get a conventional halogen one, the USD forks may give way to the conventional telescopic ones.

Also, the presence of a Radiator points to the fact that it will be a liquid cooled motor. That means it wont be cheap. And that means, it likely to never come to Indian shores, anytime soon.

We already have hornet 160 that is selling well, they have plans to launch faired variant too.

This one in particular looks high end features and can never sell below 1.5lakh here and for that price, I guess people will always prefer higher displacement engines

With the Liquid Cooled engine, Fi, USD forks, LED lights it will easily cost more than the FZ25.. and bang into the "elephant" (RE) category.

Anybody with half a biking brain will tell that this one WON'T make it to India

Magazines also once quoted 1.5 lakhs for the Ninja 250R and 21Ps for the R15 (original)
