| ![]() Noob question. What does 'small' adventure bike mean? Since I haven't seen the bike in person, is it that diminutive compared to the other bikes in the market. |

2. Less than 45-50 bhp 3. Under 150 kgs weight The above numbers keep changing based on market dynamics. 40 bhp was a lot a few years back, yet 160 bhp seems to be just right for many people today ![]() Generally speaking, The hero is a reasonable single track/single lane bike especially the offroad variant for the proposed price and cost of spares. Not so much road adventurer because of the diminutive engine size. Lastly any bike you have is an adventure bike. Its what you make it. There are so called adventure bikers everywhere who only ride to breakfast and back with an accessory catalogue that will make eyes water. And then we have vespas and honda cubs who have ridden all around the world and seen more dirt than a showroom full of GS 1250'S. Last edited by Red Liner : 26th April 2019 at 14:01.

| ![]() Pictures have started pouring in! 1. No center stand for offroad variant 2. Visors will be attached during delivery 3. Nissin brakes and calipers!!! Brilliant! 4. Camo green looks smashing! 5. Sump guard and frame guard and serrated footpegs and top box rack are standard!!! 6. Kick start option as a back up to the electric start/battery failure. Bloody hell! This is freaking brilliant! Last edited by Red Liner : 29th April 2019 at 11:20. |

| ![]() Looks good to me. There is no ABS ring on the rear wheel suggesting this is a single channel, which will be better for off road. Does the road version get dual channel ABS ? |

![]() Are they seriously going to pass this jugaad onto production ? I see ample clearance to make it exit normally . How hard would it be to add a slightly angled adapter to the exhaust clamp ?

| ![]() Xpulse 200T also reaches dealerships.. Or may be these are the media drive bikes. ![]() Picture source: FZ25 Owners Forum whatsapp group I just hope that the turn - by - turn navigation is synced with Google maps rather than with mapmyindia (refer: ntorq 125) or anything else. | ![]() Being a dealer myself I know commenting on this bike would be a conflict of interest. But as an member and a motorcycle enthusiast I must say that the planning and execution for this bike is superb!! Brilliant execution!! The various parts are perfectly matched. Shows the strategic partnerships and recent talent acquisitions being put to perfect use. Premium is the way forward. I'm looking forward to this bike reaching the showroom soon. One will be added to my personal garage for sure. |

| ![]() Why no dual channel ABS? But looks like the fit and finish is good. And the offroad version seems purpose built - not much on that bike that can fall off on a rough road. |

Given our road conditions this Xpulse duo has immense potential in both Urban and Rural markets. Price it around 1 lac and you've a hot selling Hero! Expected ex-showroom prices: 1.05L Xpulse 200T 1.15L Xpulse 200 (X - adv) The bikes have nothing out of this world to be priced high. It has the essentials and seems well put together. Only thing it lacks is competition! Hope Hero plays this well. --surjaonwheelz

| ![]() Rumour: Hero XPulse 200, 200T bookings open According to a media report, some Hero Motocorp dealerships have started accepting bookings for the XPulse 200 and 200T. The booking amount varies between Rs. 2,000-5,000 depending on the dealer. ![]() The Hero XPulse 200 and 200T are set to replace the Impulse off-road bike. The XPulse 200 is more off-road focused with a higher ground clearance along with 21-inch and 18-inch wire spoke wheels at the front and rear respectively. The XPulse 200T is designed for touring and features different handlebars, seat and rides on alloy wheels. Both bikes are expected to be offered with the 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Xtreme 200R. It produces 18.1 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 17.1 Nm @ 6,500 rpm. Both bikes are likely to get disc brakes at both ends and single channel ABS. Source: Autocar India Link to Team-BHP News |

| ![]() Looks very utilitarian. I worry about the lack of design, it doesn't look like an aspirational vehicle. |

| ![]() I believe it looks purpose-built. But then, I'm also biased. The lack of cosmetic elements means it'll be able to survive quite a few falls before requiring a visual revamp. I can't tell how long I've waited for this. Finally, it's here. I'm going to keep a close eye on the reliability and ownership reports before I think of buying this. First I have to run my Impulse to the ground. It's a Honda engine. It's going to take a few years before it starts limping. |

| ![]() The seat height seems to be set to average Indian standards - so exclusivity goes out of the window(unlike impulse). What else could this "entry level adventure motorcycle" compromise for more sales? |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() Looks good in the final format! Hope the price is drool-worthy as well. This will make for an excellent second vehicle in the garage, a very comfortable city slicker as well as a tool to kick up dirt over the occasional weekends.
