Congrats!

i come to know that the Monster edition is on hold now. Yamaha asked dealers to stop taking booking for this one. Not sure why. Licensing issues or production issues... no idea.

This is how it looks with a mono. Thanks to modification kits from other Asian markets. They even have a rear disc kit.

No Idea about your place, but here in chennai, dealers are taking bookings for the moto GP edition as well.

At home

However, there is a small issue with the app. The average mileage shown in the app is 46 km/l, and on the odometer, it is showing only 36kmpl.

The app still needs lots of improvement. Revving the dashboard is a useless feature. Checking fuel status would have been a lot better.

Wow, already two owners in the forum. Congrats mate. And Monster editions at that. Look forward to your review. Hows the power, handling etc? The Scooter must be such an adrenaline rush! I have not received the Tool Kit, and the dealer is non committal. Says, its not come from Yamaha. Where is it hooked under the seat?

Same here Sebring. I didn't receive the tool kit either. A Lot of things on this bike is new to the Indian Market, maybe that's the reason why the dealer is not committed to handing over the tool kit.

Did you notice the tyres?? That spec tyre is almost non-existant in India and no proper tyre branding is there.

The bike packs a lot of power. To enhance its looks, I've added LED Flashers as indicators.

Are the LED flashers available? No Company accessories over here. The imported tyres should be made available by Yamaha soon. Should be pricey. My friend says these soft tyres will last 10,000 Kms only. What do you think?

yes, the flashers are available. I'll post the pics with flashers tomorrow. I've got a body cover and flashers as an accessory. If the tyres last for 10K kms, it is gonna be a wallet drainer.

Re: Yamaha Aerox 155 Scooter. Edit: Launched at 1.29 lakhs

Sorry for the late reply. What Yamaha has done is cast the bottom of the seat storage in the shape of the full face helmet. This is the biggest size (Hybrid) Full Face helmet and it fits - top portion, down. Lid closes easily.

I won't recommend. I got R15 V3 cover instead of it. I got that for free. Original Aerox cover doesnt cover the wheels. Here is the pic of my cover.

I'm liking the original flashers the bike came with. So I'm keeping it. I wish it made a beep sound as it's just not possible to look down to see if flasher is on at these speeds. Rear shock absorbers are great but gas charged should be something else altogether

LED flashers are far better than stock halogen indicators, it is a great add on. However, Yamaha showroom refused to add buzzer to the indicators as they don't have enough tools / technical expertise to work on.

After repeated pressure from my end, they changed the rear indicators to LED flashers.
