Yamaha Aerox 155 Scooter. Edit: Launched at 1.29 lakhs

I've added some vinyls to the bike/scooter (I nicknamed it as THE ORION). Aerox 155 Branding on both sides and Yamaha branding on the front suspension.

Adding buzzer means changing the indicator relay to the one with buzzer. I recently replaced my Aviator's relay with following Minda. The reviewes say that this works well with LEDs as well. You may try this.

I have been calling to the dealerships in Bangalore and seems no one has the scooter for display or test drive.

Any one booked the scooter in this forum? when is the expected delivery?

As of now, I and Sebring own it.

Try calling up Chandan Motors Yamaha, Banashankari. I have seen few review videos of Aerox 155 in the past week where the reviewers got the test ride scooter from this outlet and suggested the outlet for TD and bookings.

Recently I was so sure of getting the Triumph Trident 660 home that I had asked my brother to hand-carry the Tail Bag from the UK. Having canceled that plan (looking at the Blor dealer's attitude) I am using it on the Aerox, where it fits like dream - (due to the beautifully tapering, contoured seat). It has a sleeve/envelop that goes under the seat at the very back, and 2 additional velcro bands to hold it in place. Loving the super slim profile. Was planning for LED turn indicators, but the one that came from the factory looks the part.

Toolkit is just a screw driver, :-) its hidden under the seat. Open the seat, you will find it at one edge which is hidden.

The app is highly inaccurate. My odo is showing a mileage of 38Kmpl, whereas the app is showing the following mileage.

When I checked the ride log, it is showing another mileage.

Checked out 2 customer vehicles, Blue and MotoGP at Chandan motors, look awesome. They would have a test drive vehicle next week.

They are taking bookings for all variants and said wait time would be 50-60 days.

Is that the R15 in a different avatar? I guess it uses the same engine. This is a scootabike, not really a scooter. There really is no clear space and footboard between the handlebar and the seat.

Follow neither Vivek, switch off or delete the app and just enjoy riding the scooter

On a serious note, the odometer average seems realistic, the app appears too ambitious.
