Moreover, luckily, the OE spares are still available, more than 17 years after the production was stopped.

So let the RX 100 rock.

I just got myself a fully restored, silver colour, 1988 RX100.
Always wanted to own one, and was lucky to find this gem. Green tax paid, insurance and all papers up to date.
Its one of my proud possessions since a month and since the previous owner had given me a extra tank and panel, got it painted to Tomato Red colour. Looks beautiful now. Also got a few other spares new mirrors, new seat, logos, bulbs etc. Hearing the 2 stroke sound always puts a smile on my face.

Rx100 definitely rocks.

Dont sell your RX100. It is one of a gem machine one can ever have. Riding a two stroke machine is a real deal. And Yamaha RX100 is a legend motorcycle and will always be.

Awesome looks ! Congratulations for a very good buy. Its only very difficult to find very good showroom examples of the older RX 100's, nowadays.

The legendary bike is quite a draw on the roads and still attracts enthusiasts. I can see this love multiplying over the coming years, as these become rarer to spot, in a world of the newer, complexly engineered and designed lookalike bikes in plastics.

Most of the Restoration was done by the seller in Sholapur 2/3 months ago. After buying the bike, last month I did the final restoration, engine work, wiring, silencer muffler, oil pump and paint job in Pune.
Got all OEM parts from Tilak Automobiles.
Will PM you details about the mechanic.

In case I sell it, I might bring home a Thunderbird X sooner or later
I am sure your are holding your bike! The current used rx100 market is well above 80 grand!
