Re: 2018 Activa 125 gets some updates

They have added a lot of bells and whistles, but I see that there is no change in position of the petrol filling inlet. Still have to unlock the seat , lift it up etc..

Wish they moved it out like in TVS jupiter ,

Maybe they dont want to copy a Indian maker ? Does any scooter have it like TVS anywhere ? Maybe there should be a regulation to force all scooter makers

Yes, the Hero Duet does. The Maestro Edge does too but you have to unscrew the fuel cap which makes the external fuel filler thing look pointless. Some scooters have fuel filler at the front.

That being said I have seen the external fuel cap of some TVS Wego's rusted or corroded but haven't seen the same in TVS Jupiter. Strange!

The Activa 125 now makes better sense. I like the new color of the alloys. Wish they gave some of these updates on the Activa 5G too.

Bajaj's Kristal, Mahindra (or Kinetic - Sym) Rodeo, Mahindra Flyte had it in the front. Very convenient and practical if you ask me.

The Hero (Puch) Winner too had it in the front if my memory serves me right.
