How does one remove the rear wheel to fix the puncture?

I am sure they give a provision for it. It's not exactly hubless, but having a hub with a large hole I am more curious about the lack of hydraulic/mechanical brakes at the rear.

Electric braking using the motors? It is possible.

Yes that's what they call regenerative braking. But for faster/emergency braking conventional brakes are still the preferred choice as they work even without power (something is better than nothing).

I suppose that's why they kept the front wheel as a conventional one just for brakes.

Even though it took like 4 years to make an actual bike like this and by a different company, the final product is quite practical. Only unanswered question is about unsprung weight due to heavy rear wheel set up.

VERGE TS with 1000Nm of Torque

Need multiple reviews to actually believe as to what has been said in the review below.

Regenerative braking is different and it is not possible to use it as a mechanical brake in the conventional sense.

Yes. I suspect that this is a BLDC motor working on a fly by wire principle. This means that speed control is done electronically and there would be no conventional brakes (Using friction). So your brake is electronic too. You don't mess with motors that put out 1000Nm (Unverified) torque using normal hydraulic or friction brakes.

PS : I haven't watched the complete video.
