Transfigure Custom House - Mumbai-based custom motorcycle builder

Transfigure Custom House - a Mumbai-based custom motorcycle builder, has designed a one-off bike called the Albrassco. The bike has been designed to compete in the 2018 World Bike Building Championship conducted by AMD and INTERMOT. The company has previously won various awards including "Best Custom bike of the year", given by Harley-Davidson India.

The Albrassco is a custom bike based on a 1949 BSA B31 350cc Plunger motorcycle:

The bike has been built using non-ferrous materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and gunmetal:

The name Albrassco has been derived from the materials used to make the bike. It stands for aluminium, brass, stainless steel and copper:

These metals have been used as they give their own colour and character to the bike. Hence, the bike has not been painted. Instead, it has been polished to give it a shine:

While the chassis, swing arm and the wheel spokes are made from stainless steel, the front suspension and the wheels themselves are made from aluminium:

All engine mountings and the wheel hubs are made from brass:

The springs are made from stainless steel and then copper plated. The fuel tank and the oil tank are made from brass and are also copper plated:

The seat frame is made from stainless steel while the hand grips are made from aluminium and are leather-wrapped. The seat itself is made from leather and gets the company logo engraved on it:

All cables and wires are routed through the chassis:

The championship will be held in Cologne, Germany in October this year. The company claims to be the only participant from India in their category:

Transfigure Custom House, which was founded in 2012, specializes in building one-off custom motorcycles. They have built 59 custom motorbikes based on Royal Enfields, Harley-Davidsons and Triumphs. Here's a look at some of their other creations.

The Aeron is built for a client from Indore and is powered by a Royal Enfield 500cc engine:

The Mauri Warrior is built on a Royal Enfield Classic 500. Components are hand and machine crafted by TCH:

Equipped with a 500cc engine, the Nirvana was built in 2012 and features a Buddha face on the tank. TCH claims that every component from the chassis to wheels has been fabricated in-house:

The Transton is a replica of the Norton Manx.:

The bike was built by looking at pictures of the Norton Manx on the internet:

Sexy looking bikes! Thanks for sharing with the rest of the petrol heads!

Out of all the bikes showcased here, The Albrassco took the cake. I mean, it is class apart and all the shiny metal across the bike take the character to the next level.

Re: Transfigure Custom House - Mumbai-based custom motorcycle builder

Call me old fashioned or anything. I would have preferred a 1949 BSA 350cc plunger in its original form. No doubt a lot of great craftsmanship has gone into the making of these motorcycles. The heart is still an old thumper. We are yet far from the customised motorcycle industry as found in USA or UK. The engines used in their choppers are new with more power while retaining the traditional V twin look. Further , I don't know if these would be road legal in India ,given our traffic cops attitude towards anything modified.

Its just my opinion. Nothing against the guys who built this motorcycle.

It also has suicide lever clutch. I love that arrangement for a liesurely short ride.
