further on the same,,,

Sorry didn't include this in my first post,
I had started this post here to ask from everyone if you know of any other Indian / indian groups who have done international overland travel like this?

As I have mentioned in my Intro , I would love to do something like this. Just wanted tp speak to people who have done this sort of long distance riding from India.

I am in touch with the first two people No 1 and No 2 mentioned above. would be greatful If any one could help me with the contacts of the no 3 person I mentioned in the post. I came to know of him through a 60 year old international biker lady (Linda Bick) who stayed at my place when She was on her way from Spain to Indonesia (35000 kms overland). Sadly couldn't get the contacts of this person then.

Thanks to please let me know if you have any more details on this ,
regards,
Red Bull

I had to edit the original (First) post here but could not see the edit button so I had to do the second post.

Can someone please guide me at to why I do not see an edit button on my posts? Does the button appear only after I graduate out of a newbie??

I planned an overland drive by car to Europe a few years ago but the Pakistani visa is a stumbling block. If that is resolved, the whole world is open to Indian drivers. I am hopeful that the Burma border will open up sooner or later, letting us take the 2005 Asean Rally route to SE Asia. Or maybe China will let us through the Nepal border (Kailash Yatra route).

I was told that the CII is planning a South Asia Rally for friendship between the SAARC nations.

Count me in for your plans.
