Bajaj has partnered with the Surman Group, which is also the official distributor of the brand. The new assembly plant will cater exclusively to the Mexican market, where sales are estimated to reach 36,000 units by next year. The company is targeting sales of between 1 lakh and 1.5 lakh units per year over the next 5 years.

Bajaj is also in the process of expanding its dealer network in Mexico as sales have grown by 30% in the last 10 years. Currently, the country has 55 authorized dealers and 77 showrooms. This number is expected to reach 120 selling points this year.
