Yamaha recalls YZF-R3 for radiator hose, torsion spring issue

Yamaha has announced a service campaign for the YZF-R3 to replace a defective torsion spring and radiator hose, which is likely cause coolant leaks.

According to a media report, 1,874 units of the YZF-R3 manufactured between July 2015 and May 2018 are affected by these issues. However, the company has said that no such problems have been reported by customers in India.

The owners will be contacted individually by Yamaha authorised dealers and the affected bikes will be repaired free of cost. Additionally, owners can check if their bike is among those recalled by entering chassis number on this website.
