Rumour: KTM 250 Duke-based Bajaj Pulsar 250 coming

Bajaj had planned this 250cc engine back in 2005-06. But, they eventually settled down to 220cc. However, with the conglomeration of KTM business, they've wide variety of products to choose to introduce in Indian avatar. With this, they have planned on adopting Duke 250cc engine into the Pulsar skeleton and will most likely christen it as Pulsar 250 as reported by Rushlane

It will be based on the RS version itself with just an engine swap and nothing much to expect.

As a fan of crude Pulsar versions that is the homegrown DTSI units, I still love the grunt it produced back in the days and not really a fan of tamed KTM engines in the pulsar lineup.

There are no images of the bike - But based on the reports, we can imagine RS200 body with heart of 250cc motor.

Gaadiwaadi has reported few more updates that are mostly speculations on Pulsar 250 - highlights below

1) The upcoming motorcycle will be the most powerful Pulsar model launched in India

2) Pulsar 250 will get dual channel ABS and slipper clutch as standard

3) Pulsar 250 likely to be the successor of NS200. However, I’m skeptical if they’re going to pull the plugs off NS200 yet?
