@jessie . u and ur friend both dont seem to get it . is ur friend going to be using this RD engine in a CBZ chassis on the drag strip ? then it is ok . is he prepared to come out of the corner holding the handle bar along with the front end with the rest of the bike behind him ? do you understand what u are ur friend are trying to do ???? the RD350 chassis is straight of the TZ350 chassis . the RD350 chassis has been strenghtened for road use over the TZ chassis and high end metal has been replaced with cast iron . Nothing , I repeat , Nothing made in india 2 wheeler can handle as well as the RD350 . have u heard of the gypsy engine on 2 wheels ? have u heard of the maruti 800 engine on 2 wheels ? they have all done this on an RD chassis and nothin else . cas it is the strongest and most highly tuned of all chassis ever released in India . if u and ur friend still dont get it and want to u a strenghthened chassis of a punny 12 bhp single cylinder 4 stroke developed by Hero Hondo than all the best with ur endevor . infact id say just stick with the CBZ frame ... that would save another RD chassis frm being mutilated .

Thanked: Once

Sorry for the confusion guys.. completely forgot the chassis was still from the rd only

And i dont think he wanted it to look like a cbz .. more like the 350LC actually..which it does look like.. and handles damn well with the rearset footpegs.

Your friend wants to buy an rd engine and put it on a faired cbz?
Do you realise how much Rd engines heat up anyways .. even without fairings.
And with an Rd you have enough problems anyways, even without bringing the cbz chassis/fairing part into the picture.

Doesnt sound like a wise decision man.

On another note.. anyone who rides a cbz that looks like that definitely doesnt know what hes getting into when he wants to buy a 20+ year old bike.

Hello Guys

Thanx for the comments, this is Jessie's friend who owns that bike.

@Steeroid: Understanding ur love for the huge bike, u must not underestimate any other piece of work. As u might have seen the pic, the bike had been modded for high speeds and torque, not just looks. It having a big enough space in front to fit the Rd engine.

As for the final touch, after the installation the is to be realtered if needed for the bigger torque and high speeds, dun want those flexy chassis to come here.

Ofcourse it wont be as real as the masterpiece, but still we can make it work close to it. When done will surely tell u guys the review.

@2StrokeJunkie: Hey calm down with the emotions bro, i know ur concerned . TZ350.. nice workable chassis, does it mean no other bike can be made with that chassis? Maybe wrong. Exactly the term which is and will be used on this bike... No cast iron or wrought irons... U can consider that cos even the fairing is metal. Pls quit calling it a CBZ frame cos its not anymore. CBZ chassis is not so long, didnt spend money for nothing. As fior mutilation..lol... Dun worry, trying all my best to get a deadly mutant outta it.

@cbr1000f: Nope, its not a faired cbz anymore. And btw, had i not known bout the 20 years + bikes couldnt take a decision on getting a 1986 or older bike on it. As for the technical issues of the chassis and power, got a much better mech to take care of it..

Finally, guys its not a General Discussion thread posted by Jessie. Its for a purchase of a RD 350 Bike or Engine.
All the comments by all expertise have been considered before, so pls dont waste time on posting them, and let us know if there is a bikeor engine for sale.

Regards.
