Why cars and motorcycles shouldn't be bought and driven off the lot as like other stores? This antiquated model for waiting RTO approval taking anywhere from 2 days to 2 months is just not going to work for future customers who are getting used to most things delivered at their door in minutes.

I believe that we as customers need to push for buying vehicles like buying t-shirts (as you put it) so that some reforms will be done. If many other countries do it, why can it be done here?

In the US, even with its inefficient dealership system, the primary goal for any salesperson is to make even a walk-in customer to drive off their lot with a new car they were interested in. They consider it a failure if they can't do it for any reason. And their DMVs and financial companies facilitate this.
