Today saw a news article about launch of new pulsar 180F.

The deadline for selling motorbikes with no-ABS is just two weeks away and Bajaj decides to launch a new model with no-ABS.
I am wondering about the audacity of the company or do Bajaj know something which we are not?
On the other hand, I am waiting for 31st March to see whether I can grab a bike for office travel at a discount like BS-III to BS-IV switchover.

The 31st March Deadline for bikes >125 cc to get ABS is probably for Wholesales/Factory Dispatches..
Dealerships/Resellers can probably stock up and Retail even post the 31st March Deadline. Which should boost Bajaj's domestic SIAM numbers.
The 220 silhouette is quite a popular one.. so there are good chances of the "Neon" P180 might actually flying off the dealerships as a VFM "cheaper limited edition" model.
This one probably might not be like the BSIII to BSIV Switchover

I've seen the 180F Neon in a nearby showroom floor for about a month now, guess they didn't bother updating their online line-up until now.
And yes, it is a hot seller for reasons beyond my comprehension.
The half fairing on 220F is what made it a success. I have seen a lot of people (mechs and working class people especially) adding the 220 fairing 150 & 180. This was a nice move on Bajaj's part. I think they might introduce a HF twin disc soon. About the no-ABS part, me thinks the bike was in production since long. They just took their sweet time to announce the vehicle. Pretty sure that there are still plans for introducing a ABS 180 HF soon.
