Found a video on my YouTube feed that I felt like sharing with all BHPians. Appreciate the concept and know how irritating it is to ride with dripping and not clear visors in rain.





What is it?

• Wipey is a small electric motor operated wiper system, similar to the wipers of cars.
  
  
• It can be snapped on any kind of helmet with a visor on it including full-face, modular, dual-sport and open face helmets.
  
  
• Wipey can be fixed on the visor and a safety-spring in the device ensures that it is securely placed.
  
  
• The product has been tested at 130 km/h
  
  
• It takes one second to attach or detach the device as per the specifications.
  
  
• The battery is removable and can be replaced too. The battery can last up to 3 hours if used continuously or 12 hours if used intermittently. It uses a CR132A type.
  
  
• The wiper is also Bluetooth-enabled. Just like the car wipers, the Wipey can be adjusted for speed.

THE_BUTTON.

• It is mounted on the handlebar - within reach of your thumb. So your hands can always stay on the handlebar.
  
  
• Using THE_BUTTON is super easy, completely the same as using the button on the main unit - on the WiPEY.
  
  
• But even if you have THE_BUTTON installed, you can always use the button which is integrated into the WiPEY (for example; if THE_BUTTON runs out of batteries).
  
  
• THE_BUTTON uses Bluetooth technology. This is an optional accessory.

Nice Gadget. Any idea where is it available and how much does it cost?

My view, only limitation I see is, Battery life for 3 hours. If it lasts only for 3 hours if used continuously, then, battery has to be very frequently changed. In Bangalore, if rain starts, 1 hour journey on 2 wheeler takes 2 to 3 hours :(
