Hero Maestro Edge 125 launched at Rs. 58,500

Hero MotoCorp has launched the Maestro Edge 125, which is claimed to be the first Indian scooter with fuel injection. It is available in three variants - Drum and Disc brake versions priced at Rs. 58,500 and Rs. 60,000 respectively, while the fuel-injected version costs Rs. 62,700 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Maestro Edge 125 comes with semi-circular headlamp with LED daytime running lights and triangular indicators positioned on the front fairing. It has an external fuel filler, mobile charging port, boot lamp, remote key opening and an instrument cluster with a digital readout and service due reminder.

The Maestro Edge 125 FI is powered by a 125cc engine that produces 9.1 BHP @ 7,000 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque @ 5,000 rpm. The carburetted version has the same engine but makes 8.7 BHP @ 6,750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of torque. It comes with an Idle-stop-start system.

The Maestro Edge 125 FI comes in two color options - Pearl White with Brown inner panel and Astro Gold front forks and Panther Black with a Red inner panel. The carburetted variant is available in 4 matte colour options - Matt Blue, Matt Red, Matt Brown and Matt Vernier Grey.
