The first image of the 2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 has surfaced online.



The Gixxer 155 looks similar to the naked version of the Gixxer SF 250 that had leaked last month. It has an octagonal headlamp and dual-tone bodywork. The bike has a V-shaped side fairing and a stepped seat. It is riding on black alloy wheels and has a black exhaust with a chrome tip and heat shield.



The Gixxer 155 is expected to be powered by a 154.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 14.59 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is likely to be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.



According to the spy images, the new Gixxer 155 is expected to get telescopic fork suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It has a front disc brake and is likely to get ABS.

I'm interested to see if the rear disc is going to be standard like the post 2016 models or they will decide to offer drums on rear.

2019 Suzuki Gixxer 155 launched at Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The engine specs/tune remain the same while the exteriors and features have been revamped. I see the wheel speed sensor in the front discs, does this bike have ABS as standard.

Its time to have this as a standard feature for the price that the segment now demands.
