Suzuki Gixxer SF MotoGP edition launched at Rs. 1.11 lakh

Suzuki has launched the Gixxer SF MotoGP edition priced at Rs. 1,10,605 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The MotoGP edition is based on the standard Gixxer SF. It is finished in Suzuki Racing Blue with Team Suzuki Ecstar livery similar to the 2019 MotoGP bike. It has clip-on handlebars and wheel pinstripes.

The Gixxer SF MotoGP edition is powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 13.9 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 14 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike has disc brakes at both ends and is equipped with ABS.

Suzuki also plans to introduce the Gixxer SF 250 MotoGP edition in the next month. It will be powered by a 249 cc, oil cooled engine developing 26.1 BHP @ 9,000 rpm ad 22.6 Nm @ 7,500 rpm. The bike will also be equipped with a dual-channel ABS.

IDK, but these 100/150 comuters really dont do anything for me specially if they adorn these bright super bike livery. A 150 cc Gixxer just sounds wrong.
However, the SF 250 is where the fun can be found. As a city bike, 250 cc will give you alot of smiles. But again dont let the bight Gixxer nomenclature and livery fool you.
