That's a nice way to ditch the Honda Derived 97 cc Sloper Engine. Post April 2020 this engine should replace the other bikes in the Hero Portfolio

I think that's the plan. The old 97cc Honda mill isn't BSVI compliant. Tech's too outdated. Honda uses 109cc mill on it's commuter bikes these days.

I wonder why they have to still hold on to the splendor tag. This doesn't look like the splendor of the olden days and if you remove the stickers, once can confuse it with any other Bajaj commuter.

This bike gets worse in the looks department with every iteration. It looks like they've slapped together design elements from a dozen bikes. What is this thing?

Some of the other manufacturers have decent designs for their commuter segment bikes, ex: Honda, TVS (maybe not the Radeon). But, Hero!

I agree. the latest Designs are amateurish and and eyesore. Only betters the Chinese becuase of its built quality.

This new iSmart paint schemes look far worse. If they want to make this bike sell, they'll need two things that will migrate Splendor Plus customers here:

1. Lower Seat height (splendor is famous for this)
2. Old Splendor Plus color schemes
3. Rear Luggage Carrier

These are some of the things that the Splendor buyers (atleast here) look at. Also, while it's a good move to add a mandatory front disc, our people won't buy a bike that doesn't have optional drum (discs kill you baba and throw you on the roads).
