Motorcycle Adventure Travel Documentaries

I have always loved Motorcycles. Time immemorial.

And I have always loved to travel.

Combine the two and you get a vicious circle that you just never want to get out of!

Let's have this thread going for all those wonderful travel videos and documentaries on adventuring on two wheels only from around the world. Post up those inspirational round the world trips and dirt bike adventure trips that make you want to saddle up and go!

I will start drop shipping what I found inspirational to me. Big, long, short - everything goes here ->

PS: I don't work for KTM.

A beautiful video of this unassuming Czech rider's solo adventure ride thru Central Asia. It also has some nice photography

I started watching this just out of curiosity. It was so amazing that I had to finish it. I loved photography and live narration.

Thanks, Haroon for sharing this.

This is the series with Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman -
Long Way Round:

Long Way Down:

Just fantastic on the BMW 1200 GSs.
Charlie Boorman later went on to ride in the Paris-Dakar rally.

Though one of my favorites is long way down, I couldn't help posting Itchy Boots travel documentary. Got to laud this lady for traveling around the world on a Himalayan that too solo.

Re: Motorcycle Adventure Travel Documentaries

I have a serious case of ADHD, so I can’t sit down and watch a series of vlogs, it just saps me out.

On the other hand, I enjoy escapades like these, just wrapped watching it.

And most of what I seem to enjoy watching is the dirty stuff (pun?)

Re: Motorcycle Adventure Travel Documentaries

There's this channel on YouTube called Toll Free Traveller. Here's a former corporate lawyer who gave up his job to travel on a motorcycle. He travels all across the country, and has also been to Nepal, Bhutan & on his latest escapade, to the Tibetan plateau on his trusty steed - 'Faith'. Many of the videos that he puts up invariably have an element of adventure in them, though not in the classic adventure motorcycling sense. And his easy narration only adds to the nice visuals & decent editing.

Here's a sample

Cheers !
