| 2020 Auto Expo: Hero Electric AE-3 e-trike unveiled Hero Electric has unveiled the AE-3 electric trike at the 2020 Auto Expo.  The AE-3 is a 3-wheeled scooter equipped with a self-standing gyroscopic stability feature with Auto balance park switch. It also features a digital instrument cluster, mobile charger, walk assist, reverse assist at 26 km/h, mobile app, GPS, GPRS, real-time tracking and geofencing. The AE-3 is powered by a 5,500 W motor and a 48 V / 4 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery offers a maximum range of 100 km on a single charge. Recharging the battery takes 5 hours.
