Honda to relaunch ‘new & improved’ Unicorn, Shine

Source: Moneycontrol India :: News :: Honda to relaunch ‘new & improved’ Unicorn, Shine :: :: Business :: Honda,Hero Honda,Unicorn,Shine,Bajaj Pulsar

Honda may not be happy with the performance of its motorcycles - the 150cc Unicorn and Shine. That's why it's planning a revamp. Sources say Honda will redesign and launch them in April with heftier price tags.

Besides, sources say Honda also plans to import the CBR 600 - that's to showcase its sporty side. It hopes all this will enhance its brands.

From the pics doesnt look good at all. Has some tinges of the CBZ-Extreme. Didnt like the looks of that bike too. Finding it hard to believe that Hondas and Yamahas cant get some decent styling out to the custmoers while our homegrown Bajaj has some excellent styling concepts like the Pulsar, Avenger etc

Thanks for the alloys Honda, I might put them on my 2006 Unicorn which misses them. Is it wise to do so?

Mags, A very simple sticker job, and also they power coated the engine to black for the black unicorn...

Wish they came out wtih F.I... would have bought it right away. But still unicorn is gotta focus a lil towards top end for the bike.

Disappointment from Honda. I would prefer my 2005 Unicorn any day except for the mag wheels perhaps. They have messed up the front fairing which had left a strong impression in the previous model. The grab rail too seems to have gone for a toss. The only welcome change has been the upgraded wheels and the alloys of course. As pointed out by moralfibre earlier, I would like to have those alloys for my 2005 Unicorn. The shield covering the exhaust looks sleek and good too when compared to the previous version.
