The service will be available across more than 112 Indian cities, claims the two-wheeler major.
Quote:
New Delhi: Suzuki Motorcycle India (SMIPL) on Tuesday has announced that it has launched online sales and service platform called 'Suzuki at your doorstep' in order to boost demand during and post COVID-19 lockdown.

The service will be available through the two-wheeler manufacturer's official website.

As the company claims, this service will enable customers to buy, test-ride and opt for after-sales services.

Commenting on the launch of ‘Suzuki at your Doorstep’ program, Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd (SMIPL), said, “We are pleased to introduce ‘Suzuki at your doorstep’ program that enables customers to purchase their desired two-wheeler as per their convenience through their mobile phones and laptops. The online booking, doorstep delivery and service of Suzuki vehicles have been introduced keeping the safety and well being of our customers and employees at the core of the initiative. With our online sales solution, we look forward to bring in positivity in the two-wheeler segment and the overall industry post-COVID-19."

This is interesting. I am assuming that the nearest dealer to ones home location would reach out and arrange a test drive and take the enquiry forward.

I wonder how they plan to separate the genuine inquiries from the rest; seems like there will be a lot of increase in work for the dealer sales people!

The way articles are written these days (the source mentioned in the opening post) is totally irritating. No link to the portal, just cross links to their own articles. Hope am not missing something!

Anyways, here's the link: https://booknow.suzukimotorcycle.co.in/vr-product
Looks neat!
