BHPian ![]() | ![]() I own a Jawa Perak & RE Interceptor was one of my choices. They are two different bikes. Perak is more of a lifestyle bike, meant for city and breakfast rides. You cannot do long multi-day rides on Perak without any additions (no space whatsoever to store vehicle documents, forget anything large). Tank bags or backpack are the only options to carry any meaningful luggage. Besides this, Interceptor is a beast when it comes to power and will most definitely outperform Perak in all aspects of performance. Low ground clearance is another bane in Perak, you need to be careful on those big speed breakers. I decided to buy Perak for the following reasons

| ![]() Went through the whole post and decided to go with the Interceptor. Perak is a very good looking bike and there is no denying it. But personally i felt that the bike was lacking the fun of riding, which the interceptor offers more. |
