Re: Honda Hornet 2.0 launched at Rs. 1.26 lakh

This repsol edition atleast could be provided with dual channel abs as option. I agree to provide a sixth gear it will be whole lot of changes, but to offer dual channel abs as an option will it ever be an overhead in their manufacturing line? If apache 200 can come with dual channel abs and single channel as different variants, why not honda?

I think a 6th Gear and Dual Channel ABS should have been special additions on the Repsol Edition. That would definitely given it some uniqueness in purchase terms.

I completely agree with you. Just yesterday I visited Sterling Honda, Pimpri, Pune to test ride the Hornet 2.0. When I asked the Sales Exec what is the difference between Repsol edition and std. one besides the decals & rims, he said absolutely no difference, which was like a downer, when they are charging a premium of Rs 2000/- over the std. edition. A 6th Gear and Dual Channel ABS in the Repsol Edition and I would have been mentally prepared to pay a premium of 10K or even more.

Coming to the test ride, it was a very short one. Just a couple of rounds in the backyard of the showroom. Wish I could take a longish ride, 8-10 kms. But I will definitely do that before cutting my cheque. Has anyone managed to do that? If yes, then please share your experience.

Re: Honda Hornet 2.0 launched at Rs. 1.26 lakh

Looks like Hornet 2.0 and X-Blade are nearly dead, just saw the sales chart on Rushlane - Zero sales in the month of October. Couldn't find the data for November but September sales were abysmal as well, only 73 units of Hornet 2.0 and 3 units of X-Blade were sold.

Seriously Honda, bring out a better package for these bikes or lower the price, otherwise the CB200X will be next on the chopping block.

Are they still selling the CB300R? It shows as 1 unit for Oct-21.

Yeah that was weird, CB300R is not BS6 compatible so I dont know from where it comes from, maybe some old stock got sold or a demo bike?
