Ananth - If you look closely the end of the exhaust is actually chrome. I think due to the fire the rest of the exhaust has turned black from its chrome finish. It looks more like a Karizma to me too.

Hi,

This looks like a CB400n old model. The exhaust looks different though. They could have changed it india with a Karizma exhaust.

Its a karizma for sure. It cant be a CBZ as the chrome heat shield in a CBZ is a little smaller and has a taper towards the end of the exhaust

This is a Karizma for sure. Signs of Karizma -

1) Front Disc brake.
2) Rear shock absorbers.
3) Engine cover
4) Exhaust pipe and the heat shield.

Any idea on how it caught fire?

@badri; CB400??? Could you kindly point out the rest of the three cylinders please?

That's a Karizma.

I too feel that this is a Karizma.... mainly due to the exhaust and the shock absorbers.

Looks like a Karizma. But, if you are 100% sure you saw a second cylinder and not just a dummy exhaust, then the only other one it could be is a CB400N engine in the chassis of a Karizma.

CB 400 "N"..ah. Didn't know that one. Googled up. RT, look at the crankcase (clutch cover)/head/layout. It's W-A-Y different from the one in the pic.

That's a Karizma.

100%.

The CBZ's head, bottom half, is narrower than the ZMA's; The block of the CBZ actually seems wider than the head. Also, the spark plug crest/ depression is different.

Forget everything else. Just look at the muffler assy. That's a dead giveaway.

Muffler etc can be easily changed. I'm giving the benefit of the doubt to Esteem_lover when he says he saw 2 cylinders. In which case, the only old Honda twin would be the 400n.

Slightly OT

Why do you bike guys keep referring to Karizma as ZMA?

Sorry for layman question. I am not a bike guy :(

Look at those alloy wheels it's Karizma wheels, and seeing the two silencers he must've assumed that it's got two cylinders. And also that's an el-cheapo aftermarket engine cowl usually seen on modded bikes.
