Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

I was passing by the upcoming Big Wing dealership in Cochin and stopped to take a couple of pictures. Work seems to be progressing slowly, though the name on the outside wasnt there the last time I had stopped to check it out. This used to be the Ducati showroom in Cochin earlier.

This old Ducati poster just might have to go!

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

It's a gorgeous bike. Has the right amount of heft and oomph, and has truly swayed everyone. When I reached the showroom early, the crowds were aplenty. Had a tough time taking this pic, asking everyone to move away for a second. I even counted 12-13 Royal Enfields outside the Honda showroom (Probably more), of the dudes who wanted to check her out. And looks like the CB has caught on. The matte black is a growing trend but my experience tells me it's a very difficult colour to maintain. The look is flat and fabulous. And really cool, but it isn't without its challenges. If a bird pooped on it, and if it's not cleaned within 15 minutes, it would eat the very thin clear coat and leave a stain. The stain would look like a polished mark on an unpolished surface. But a fabulous 'finish', nevertheless

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

I booked mine on 18th October at Lavelle Road, Bangalore. I was told that the test rides will commence from 27th onwards. Fingers crossed.

One thing which bothers me though is the stock tyres - From my experience with the MRF range, they are on the heavier side. Therefore I asked the dealership for options like Pirelli, Metzeler and Michelin. I was given a call by one Rahul who is their tyre expert and he told me that they often swap the tyres at some of their local tie-ups.
Any thoughts on this?

As @Sebring said in another thread, Honda has offered very conservative colors to this bike. Brighter, catchy and solid shades could look way cooler

I took some screengrabs from yesterday's GaadiWaadi video to show the road presence of CB350 with respect to RE Classic 350.

When did you visit the showroom? Is it Lavelle road showroom? I was told that they were closed yesterday.

About matte black, it is available only in non-pro version right

When I got a call from Honda sometime back, I asked the person about swapping colors and he said it's possible at dealers end. Hope they do allow for the swap as I'm not too keen on dual tone, thanks to comments like dominos binge, bigger CD 100 etc

I'm in love with the colors of non-pro, specially the black and green. Do not know what my wife may prefer.

Edit - Tyre swap needs to be done on your own as I have confirmed again after speaking to the sales representative.

There was magic in the air when my Highness arrived, making her the new 'blue' blood in town. Honda BigWing stuck to their word and ensured they met the deadline. The roar of her engine, heralded the arrival of the one who has set out to conquer!

The bike's doing about 130 km/h at around 4:05 in this new video!
(And the sound's awesome in this one. Seems like he got some better recording gear.)

Did you take delivery already?
Thought you mentioned you wouldn't pick it up without a TD.

Anyway, Congrats are in order! Wishing you many, many thousands of miles full of Honda thump!

Looking forward to some Team-BHP level first review!

Congratulations.

For me, they are still sticking to Nov first week. Hope that changes in coming days.

Did you get to see other colours of the bike too? Will be waiting for review from fellow team-bhpian.

Yes I saw other dual tone. But, this Blue pops like anything. Got registration done. Tomorrow, the president of Honda will hand over the key at a function.

Hey, I was given a small 'hush hush' TD. But couldn't announce it to anyone. LOLZ. TBHP review is in the works. I'm taking it to Coorg - first with my RE gang, then Chickmagalur, long rides planned. The bike is stellar. Loving it
