Do checkout the mirrors for CB300r or CB500x from honda itself. They stock it in Bigwing service centre.

I swapped them recently and makes ton of difference to the rear visibility. Costs around 600rs and easy installation by technicians.

Oh thanks for that heads up! Im going in for my first service in a week. By any chance would you have a photo of your bike with those mirrors mounted? Just want to get an idea of how it looks.

Hahaha saw this AFTER I gave my bike for the first service. Asked him about CB300R mirrors, he said yes, they'll fit and are available. I pulled the trigger

Thanks for the reco! Can't say they look better. But they certainly work better.

Exactly, they are more wider so offer better view especially while wearing riding jacket. Stock mirrors were decent too, just needed an inch outward perhaps.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

I too wasn't happy with the stock mirrors, I was searching for better alternatives and found a video on Youtube suggesting to try Burgman mirrors. Got hold of a pair from a nearby Suzuki ASC and they were straight fit. As per the reviews these are not as good as the Avenger mirrors but are far far better than the stock mirrors. I wanted to retain the stock look hence went with the Chrome mirrors otherwise black mirrors are also available.

Edit: these are tinted ones, that's one advantage and they are also oval, a bit resembling the tank shape of the CB. They are 950 rs a pair.

Sweet! Looks like I'm getting a third pair of mirrors lol. I have the CB300R's mirrors mounted atm. They do a really good job but look a little out of place. These look much better. Do Avenger mirrors fit directly too?

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Hello,

I'm not an avid biker, but the honda hness has definitely made the maddening traffic in Bangalore a bit more manageable, compared to my car.

However, i think the honda service in Bangalore is pretty bad. There is no attention to detail and very careless attitude. This has caused quite a few issues for me. Recently i'm also noticing the service station is quite packed. There are two in Bangalore, I have decided I will try the second service center from next time. If anyone knows any private service center that will do a better job than the official service centers, please do recommend.

Honda definitely needs to open more service stations in Bangalore and provide some competition to the dealers, otherwise, they are going to be poor in their service.

I have owned several vehicles over the past three decades and have always managed to strike a good relation with service centers and get my job done. But the arrogance of the Honda service station is a new chapter.

Overall a good bike, let down by poor service. This has been my personal experience and maybe its just my bad luck !

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Almost 2 years and 12,000 kilometers completed with my CB350 DLX PRO.

Have got 4 services done till now.

Changed both front and rear brake pads at 11,000 kms.
No other major works needed so far.
Have cleaned and lubed the chain every 500 kms.
Got the bike professionally washed and detailed once every month.

My review so far:
1. Bike is nimble to handle and easy to manoeuvre even in heavy traffic.
2. Acceleration in the 2nd and 3rd gear leaves much to be desired.
3. Revving the bike up is not a satisfactory experience.
4. The seating has never done it for me. 30-40 minutes into a ride and my buttocks get numb. Got aftermarket seats but still no help.
5. Somewhere somehow the left hand side bar end weight has fallen off. Have no clue how this happened, I keep tightening them every now and then.
6. Pillions, both light (my wife) and heavy (my friends) have complained about comfort post 30-40 minutes.

Going forward with the CB350:
The lacking midrange has been getting to me and I have resolved to replace the CB350 with a more peppier machine. My usage is more commute with a little of touring here and there. Pillion comfort is a must. The options I am considering are:

1. Suzuki Gixxer 250. Did a test ride. It felt really nimble and snappy. Plus its got glowing reviews over here. However, wasn't getting a comprehensive test ride on the highways so I'm unsure about its snappiness and willingness to overtake compared to the CB350. Also, I seek some aggressiveness in the open road, which the CB350 doesnt have. Inputs here would be really helpful.

2. Interceptor 650: Really loved the test ride. The engine is powerful. Somehow felt the ergonomics were not mature and comfortable enough. Then there's also the spoke wheels which give me puncture anxiety. Also, pillion comfort is unknown.

Any inputs here would be appreciated.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

I’ve been finding examples of people replacing the rear sprocket on their CB350s.
Does anyone here have any experience around it?
Some changes were quite elaborate and honestly a little sketchy at best.
If there’s a straight swap, I might be interested in it to improve the city riding experience and sacrifice a little on top speed.
