Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

Exhaust note comparo- CB350 Vs Meteor:
Compared to BS6 Classic 350, Meteor has good thump. For me, CB350 exhaust note is more likeable

Happened to see the optional split seat for CB350 in a YouTube video, looks well accomodating. Attaching the screenshot:

The only difference in both models are the bluetooth connectivity and single/dual tone horn. I am a little doubtful though - for only bluetooth exclusivety, why would Honda charge 10k more? Any thoughts - what else could be different?

Anyways, I will update everyone with the photos and test ride experience once that becomes available, possibly in the next week
Congratulations
Do you have any updates on the delivery date from the dealer ? I'm also interested in booking the bike but only if it's available in Pune and after a Test Drive. When I visited the showroom after the launch, they said that it will be available in 1st week of November. But when I called up this weekend, they were not able to confirm the availability of test drive.

My friend wanted to book in Bangalore, but was promised nothing regarding delivery (Not even a guesstimate). End-December looks possible (As per him). So he was okay with taking delivery on Jan1st

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

Visited CBC Honda , Kesavadasapuram (Thiruvananthapuram , Kerala) showroom last Saturday based on my call with their Enchakkal showroom guys . They mentioned that the vehicle has already landed and asked me to contact their Kesavadasapuram showroom.

Since I had some time to spare , went and checked out the new Meteor 350 first and then headed to CBC Honda to compare the CB350 back to back.

It was a lot disappointing and bit surprising to know that there was no display vehicle available yet. A new BigWing showroom is coming up near Kaimanam ( next to the Perfect Honda car showroom) , which they expect to be ready by next week (next Tuesday or so). The test rides will happen after that.

The delay in reaching the customers after announcing the bike definitely shows that there was a lack of proper planning . Strategy looks somewhat similar to how Jawa bikes were revealed and the showrooms came up.

On a similar note , Royal Enfield did a very good job by making available all their Meteor variants the very next day to their Kaimanam showroom. The showroom guys also mentioned that the first 5000 bookings pan India would be delivered within a month's time. Impressive!! Game on Honda !!

BigWing Insta page showed a massive consignment that has reached Kerala today. So, it should be available now

Hi,

Anyone here who has got the delivery of the bike from Andheri Honda Bigwing Topline, Mumbai ? I wanted to know about delivery experience and whether they stick to delivery date ? Any RTO issues faced ?

I’m waiting for the delivery of my CB350 and the SA and me has orally confirmed 13th Nov.

Thank you

What was the date of your booking? On my latest visit to this Andheri dealership, they committed a timeline of 10 days from the date of full payment. I am still holding on to my money since this particular dealership hasn't been able to explain the offers Big Wing has been running nationwide with respect to Credit Card cashbacks and the credit card transaction charges (they expect 2.36% as swiping charges).

I booked my bike on 17th Oct and made the rest of the payment on 19th.

According to SA I should be getting the bikes registration number via sms. If my delivery is planned for 13th I’m expecting to get to know my bike’s registration number latest by tomorrow or day after.

I came cross this post on Twitter about Andheri Bigwing dealership. Hence my earlier concern.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

Any news about dealership in Chennai ?

The twitter handle of Bigwing Honda gives a template response, but do we have any realistic news about this ?

I am seriously thinking of selling my CL350 and getting this. I was sold out the moment i saw it in our forum and the official website

The other alternatives I am thinking of are FZ2S BS6 and the Dominar 250.

But all depends on BigWing coming to Chennai.

Thanks

This is just a basic rendering by that Auto portal and has nothing to do with Honda's work.

Forbes carried Honda's renewed focus, and strategy for India (Under the new President, CEO & MD - Atsushi Ogata) - starting with the CB350. Made for interesting reading. Expect more hard hitting models from their global portfolio.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh (page 6)

Today as I was booking my Highness, I decided to explore the auto loan option. I came back very disappointed and just paid the amount in full.

They give up to 100% of the loan amount purportedly at a rate of 5.6%. Yet, the EMI amount he told me was completely out of whack with various EMI calculators (total interest of 59000 vs 28000 for a tenure of 4 years). Add the processing charges and it seemed like a total ripoff.
