Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Congratulations on the CB 350. We had a H'ness 350 accompany us during our Golden quadrilateral ride spanning 9 days and 6035 kms. It easily kept up with 3 other interceptors throughout the ride. Also, me being the tail during the ride, simply loved the exhaust note of the CB 350 throughout.

A totally no-nonsense purchase and Wishing you many thousand kms with this machine :-)

Congrats on your bike. There's nothing called upgrade or downgrade in automobile especially two wheelers. If heart is set then no looking back.

Thanks for the idea. I have ordered one for my CT125x that comes with stock rear parcel tray. I have an old version of seaty doing job almost for 5 years in my other bike RE-TB . Very nice product.

Hi all,
What is the general consensus on PPF for our bike? Specifically for the matte finish?

Thanks

I prefer spending the machine coatings money on quality coatings for my body like jacket helmet gloves boots. Since this is a bike, safety is so much more important than when we think about coatings for a car.

Mod note: Trimming quoted post, please avoid quoting entire large post for replies. Thanks.

No matter how uncomfortable/unpractical for daily use, i wouldnt trade my Interceptor with anything else. The brute force it gives me on an open stretch is simply outstanding. Just love the way she is. Happy riding.

The Honda Highness CB350 is a small fun motorcycle. I have not faced any major issues during the ownership so far.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Guys, how many Big Wings are there in Bengaluru and how many Big Wing ASC are there in the city. I'm on Southern most part of Bengaluru and ride to Vittal Mallaya road Big Wing was an arduous 1+ hour ride.

More embarrassing was when the Vittal Mallaya road showroom didn't have any bikes other than 300cc models back to back. The showroom guy was honest that showroom will be empty and hence he decked with whatever bikes he had.

I did a test ride of CB350 but couldn't experience anything in detail as it was a short burst on the same road up and down.

It's launched now. Comfortable too. Easy on pocket too. But don't expect Honda like refinement in Engine or performance or build too. It's unique and it has its own followers (saw one guy buying without a test ride)

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

IT's a bummer if the kits have to be purchased as a whole. Most of us would have got parts of the kit (saddle stays, engine guards etc). Given how affordable the accessories were, I don't mind buying it again, but hope they at least take back the old pieces for something more than scrap value.

3 BigWings. One is near Mekhri Circle, another in Indiranagara. And 3 ASCs. If you want a long stretch, try the Mekhri circle one as it's the new airport road. Service Center in South Bengaluru, (on Mysore Road), is really good. Dont worry

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Why are they selling them as kits and calling it custom? They should allow users to pick which item they want from the list. For me, I was interested in the cafe racer cowl but it’s disappointing to see I will have to buy other accessories like single seat as well. That kills the mood. Hoping other after market accessories makers can grab this opportunity.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Honda has released 2023 H'ness and RS CB350 twins. Has raised prices by 15k+. MInor addition of features, no change in engine specs. Wonder whether it has fixed the tall-gearing issue.

Honda launches 2023 Hness CB350 and CB350 RS

Quote:
Honda has launched the 2023 Hness CB350 and the CB350RS in India, with prices starting at Rs 2.10 lakh and Rs 2.15 lakh (both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. With this, both modern-classic motorcycles feature a handful of updates, including the BS6 phase-2 compliant engine. Not to mention, the prices of the motorcycles have also gone up considerably.

...
2023 Honda Hness CB350 and CB350 RS: Highlights The highlights of the updated 2023 Hness CB350 and CB350 RS include a new split-style seat and an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), which turns on indicators in panic braking situations to alert vehicles approaching from behind. In addition, the CB350 RS gets Bluetooth connectivity or Honda Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS) to pair with the rider's smartphone, enabling phone calls/sms alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, music, and so on.

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

Saw this article in the paper yesterday - Someone from Pune is doing a ride around the world, wearing Nauvari Saris the whole way.

Was looking at the picture attached and realised she's doing this trip on a CB350!

Re: The Honda H'ness CB350, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakh

The only concern with Highness CB 350 is very less number of showroom and service centers even in big cities.
For instance: New Delhi has only 1 showroom & 1 service center.
I do not know what will be the state of spare parts availability.

Honda should improve their marketing + increase number of showrooms + service centers. They are very few if you look at their showroom and service center locations on their website. Good product let down by these factors.

Now, the base variant i.e. DLX comes with the split seat which was not the case earlier.

One bug I observed in their website. The user cannot see different colors of the variants DLX, DLX Pro, DLX Pro Chrome as nothing happens on clicking the different color option buttons. Not a good experience!
