TVS has released a teaser image of a new bike that is scheduled to be unveiled on November 4, 2020.



The teaser suggests that the new model could be a naked street bike or a roadster based on the Apache. The headlamp looks similar to that of the Apache.

It is being speculated that TVS might introduce a naked version of the Apache RR 310. It might also be a special edition of the RTR 200 4V or the RTR 160 4V. It could get the TVS SmartXonnect system.



Last month, TVS marked a new production milestone as the 4 millionth Apache rolled of its production line. The company celebrated this feat by creating the longest chequered flag in India measuring 292 meters.

Bikewale says it's just a special edition of Apache 200 in blue color to celebrate 4 million Apaches.
Such a bummer it will be after the hype. Hope they reveal Zeppelin at the least.

I can see the silhouette of a red fender there. I hope its a substantial upgrade, rather than just a paint/sticker job

I think naked version of RR310 would have been spotted testing on our roads if it were about to be launched. Also, TVS being TVS would have hyped it so so much as it would be their flagship naked bike. I'm pretty inclined towards believing that this is yet another paint/sticker job which TVS is notorious of doing quite frequently. No mention of Zeppelin anywhere, eh?

The live event is hosted on the 'TVS Apache Series' channel, so maybe it's a Special Edition thing after-all? (Seems too much for just a few cosmetic changes, IMHO.)

Very welcome additions for Apache 200- new color scheme, adjustable front suspension, ride modes, adjustable levers. TVS keeps adding features to it!

But c'mon TVS, did it warrant the #WorldPremiere tag for these updates

2020 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V launched at Rs. 1.31 lakh

TVS has launched the updated Apache RTR 200 4V priced at Rs. 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a host of new features and is equipped with dual-channel ABS.



Speaking of features, the new Apache RTR 200 4V comes with three riding modes - Sport, Urban and Rain. The bike comes with a front suspension that can be adjusted for preload, adjustable clutch and brake levers. It also gets a gearshift indicator. The bike is available in a new matte blue colour.

Powering the bike is a 197.75cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that produces 20.53 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and 17.25 Nm @ 7,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox via a slipper clutch. In Urban and Rain modes, peak output is limited to 17.08 BHP and 16.51 Nm.

The single channel ABS variant of the Apache RTR 200 4V does not get these updates.

Great to see such premium features in a bike of this segment.

Really appreciate the dedication TVS has shown towards the Apache. Compare this to Pulsar and Unicorn (closest competitors once upon a time), and you see how Apache is leaps and bounds better than them.

That said, does anyone remember the Brand VICTOR. Was such a big brand in the early 2000s. They complete gave it up!

TVS has been at the forefront of bringing class leading technology to the 200cc segment, they really need to be applauded for continuing to lead the way. Adjustable front suspension on a 200cc bike at that price is just amazing! The best just got better with this update and I am sure TVS will sell a ton of these bikes.

Adjustable levers are cool and the paint scheme is nice and reminiscent of the racing colours, but when's the dual purpose bike coming TVS?

Love the way how TVS keeps pushing the brand Apache with new features at an affordable price. Being an ex-Apache rider, greatly appreciate how this bike has improved over the years. Apart from the weird front looks (my perspective), this bike is a winner.

This year in February I had the opportunity for a site visit to the TVS factory in Hosur and was fortunate to see the assembly lines of Apache series and BMW bikes. Just 2 words to describe. It was 'WORLD CLASS' . The factory in itself was maintained so neatly. And the discipline and punctuality of the employees still amazes me. Even if one person does not do his/her work for a minute, they have to stop the assembly line. But with their manufacturing processes involved, they told it hardly happens.

very nice, i still continue to hold on to my 11 Year old Apache Rtr 160, it's a peach of a bike. In addition to what has been discussed above, I am happy to see a black Exhaust pipe, adds to the symmetry of the look, and generally looks better.
