My Activa is running strong, 15 years after its purchase. We renewed the registration for another 5 years, and I got the engine re-bored as well. A brand set of tyres, an auxilary headlight(given the pathetic condition of the stock headlight, even after upgrading to LED), and an air seat are the latest additions to the vehicle. I plan to keep it going as long as it runs.

I too have an Activa 102cc which was mom's first scooter purchased in 2005. That was the first scooter I dented by hitting it to a wooden table in front and I was just 6 years old at that time.Continued my further studies in abroad where the scooter was given to my cousin to keep it in running condition , Got done with my 10th STD in 2017 and came down back to India only to see the scooter in such a horrible state but couldn't do anything to it since i was in another district doing my 11th and 12th std. Then finally in 2019 got hold of the scooter from cousin and boy , I was welcomed with all my childhood memories and she was in a horrible condition returning just 25kmpl .I wanted to restore her immediately. In 2019 I Went ahead with the restoration when parents gave the green signal. Costed 6K for Body restoration and 5K for new block and piston with change of bearings and oil seals. She was sparkling like new scooter. After the engine block change it ran like new tight engine returning a stunning mileage of 58kmpl. Yes you read it right ! it returned 58 on the highway with speeds under 55kmph. I was SHOCKED! In City I get about 47-49kmpl which is still amazing. I do the service myself at home every 6 months so the maintenance costs are very very low. Its been super reliable and have done long trip of 300 km to Kudremukh hills and back to Manipal in a day just when I got my license in 2019. I did the RC renewal in 2020 for another 5 years which I know she will faithfully serve without any hiccups. Attaching few of the Photos of my beauty

I was wondering where to attach aux lights on my Activa. This looks great, thanks for the idea.
