re: The Honda CB350 RS. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 1.96 lakh

They should have provided stainless steel exhausts like in H'ness 350 rather than a powder coated exhaust as those ones will look more premium in the RS variant.

Also the tank stickering could have been better. It still looks like a splendor. Even a roadside sticker shop will come up with a better design than Honda designers.

IMO , this bike looks better compared to CB350 H'ness.

The sari guard and the USB charging port seems to be missing in the RS.

re: The Honda CB350 RS. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 1.96 lakh

The rear design looks like a different design shoe-horned into the H'ness.
Keeping aesthetics aside, the backseat will be very uncomfortable to the pillion. But that seems to be par the course in recent bikes.

It will be interesting to see if Honda shares separate monthly sales details of CB350RS and H'ness.

I think they have given the Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCS) a miss and doubt if the bike has only a single horn now. There is no mention of the indicators acting as a DRL in this model , but there is a mention on the hazard switch though.

What were they thinking of the black and yellow colour combination, taxi ?
On such a beautiful bike, how do they manage to get the painting to match the splendor yet again?

re: The Honda CB350 RS. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 1.96 lakh

'Road Sailing' probably the worst expansion for RS!

The CB350 RS misses out dual horn and bluetooth, so essentially it's a derivative of base DLX variant. At 1.96L, Honda has priced the Rs.10K more than the regular CB350.

Looks great- would love to see long-term reviews of both this and the Jawa 42 2.1 before making a decision.

Side note- looking at all these changes and upgrades from other manufacturers, isn't it time for RE to spruce up the 650 lineup a bit?

"massive shaped" is a feature of this bike.
Also advance. Honda at the least needs a proof reader if not an entirely new team who works on the website.

I think they were inspired by the Ducati Scrambler which comes in those very colors.

The sloping upwards silencer is a feature of Scramblers.

re: The Honda CB350 RS. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 1.96 lakh

And they still have not been able to appoint BigWing dealers, even in metro cities! If this is the pace at which Honda is appointing its BigWing dealers, it makes a snail look like a Tesla in "Ludicrous" drive mode.
At least four of my friends from Kolkata, are ready to put down money on the CB350RS, but there's no BigWing dealer here! And surprise, surprise, the nearest Honda BigWing dealer is in Siliguri which is a good 600 odd kms away from the state capital.
Can't fathom what kind of a distribution strategy Honda is thinking of.

Again a dirty sticker job by Honda, serving no real purpose except milking the Indian customer. They ought to have at least looked at RE to know one or two lessons on honest marketing

re: The Honda CB350 RS. EDIT: Launched at Rs. 1.96 lakh

So the upwards sloping silencer, will it by any means compromise the pillion rider comfort? The leg pegs or the leg rest at the rear might be placed a little higher if my assumption is true something similar in an interceptor.

Dear Honda we the people first need to have access to this bike before we buy. As it stands today I just can't see or test ride this bike unless I travel 150kms at the minimum.

5 months running since the launch of H'ness and Pune still does not a dealership in place...
