The parts that you want but are part of other model, best is to buy those parts as accessories from Royal Enfield Showroom/Service center. Tripper probably will be the only one not available.

I have half the parts from GT on my Interceptor, which do not show up under Interceptor in MiY but are a direct fit nevertheless. I bought them off the showroom itself.

re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

Had a chance to take one of these for a short spin last week courtesy of a gentleman from a media outlet. No photos as he requested me to not click them.Keeping his identity anonymous upon his request.

Here are my observations.
The bike I rode was the top the line chrome red model.

1. The bike looks no different from the outgoing model which IMO is a really good thing.
2. The refinement is leaps and bounds ahead of the previous gen. It's 75% Japanese bike-ish!!
3. The chrome red looks smashing in person and for some reason reminds me of the INT 650.
4. The switchgear, though not among the best ,has improved a lot. I personally appreciate the utilisation of space by providing an integrated kill switch and starter button.
5. On paper it is stated that the seat height has increased, but doesn't feel like it in real life.
6. I found the ride to be a tad stiffer than the outgoing one. I ride a STD 500 which has sofa-like ride comfort. It's not uncomfortable by any any margin, just me nitpicking.
7. The seats were never a con of this bike and it's good to know that RE hasn't tried to fix something that's not broken.
8. Ergonomics are spot on for me personally, and the the new lever feels chunky to hold.
9. If you're someone who enjoys the old school thump of the RE's like me, there's nothing to write home about, BUT, the sound isn't bad at all and we've just have to let go . It's a sign of progress and we'll have to live with it. Most likely it will sit well with us thump lovers over time.

My 2 cents.

For some reason the new classic 350 fenders remind me of my old electra (2004) chrome fenders. Similar truncated front fenders and a little too high rear fender. Beautiful looking bike and I love that they have thicker tires in the front.

Waiting to see the 650cc engine in this Classic body...that will be a fitting replacement for the Classic 500. Are they going to launch it?

Wow, that was super quick. Can you share more details like variant, color, dealer, additional accessories opted for, ex-showroom and on road prices, purpose of your ride (city/highways/both).

You can also share the dealership experience but I believe that might take a while

Matt Green is not offered on the official website! Has anyone clarified this point with the showroom folks? This is one superb-looking color in my opinion!

Re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

I got to sample the motorcycle recently. Took it for a slightly longish test ride of almost 10 Kms as opposed to hardly 1 km tests ride offered by most. I notice the following throughout my short ride.
1. Touch and feel points like the brake, clutch levers and switches exuded a premium feel.
2. Same engine and gearbox shared with the meteor 350, it feels more unhurried in this application due to the larger overall diameter of the rear wheel which makes the ratios feel a smidge taller. Gears ratios now feels a bit more spaced out which is only noticeable if it's ridden after a meteor test ride.
3. Healthy low/ midrange grunt with refinement. Can do 35-40kmph in top gear without knocking. However, Meteor is even better in this regard due to it's smaller diameter rear wheel.
4. The brakes are improved when compared to the Meteor with better bite and more feel through the brake lever. Strangely, in the Meteor the brake feel was slightly wooden.
5. The suspension set up seems to be more plush than that of Meteors over bad patch of road.
6. Lastly, the rider's seat is not anymore spring loaded and is much better than the older one in terms of support and comfort.

Re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

Classic 350 unveiled in UK market, dispatches expected only in early next year.
I was expecting reviews from UK, will have to wait for couple of quarters.

I went to a nearby Royal Enfield showroom to buy a Helmet (don't ask me why) and got the glimpse of new Classic 350.

Thanks to the Team-BHP fan (he prefers to remain anonymous) who sent this in. Heartfelt gratitude for sharing it with other enthusiasts via this Team-BHP share page!

Hello,

I just noticed while playing around with the RE MiY app, that both Alloys and Touring seats (an Rs 8k and Rs 4k odd option) are FREE with the new-generation Classic models which do not have them. Makes an incredible proposition from a company whose middle name is "milking". Check the screenshot on the booking page. I couldn't find this information anywhere on the thread, hence thought of sharing it.

Re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

From the initial reviews, it looks like Royal Enfield has absolutely nailed the Classic 350. The J series engine in the Classic avataar is going to have Honda honchos wondering what to do to upgrade the CB350.

Better products from these rivals, is a big win for all of us bikers!

With the festive season almost on us, Im sure that Royal Enfield will be putting in all its efforts to cater to the demand in the Indian market for the rest of 2021.

Re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

Test rode the Classic 350 yet again. I would like to make a small correction. I have mentioned previously that it's 5th gear could pull from as low as 35-40 kmph but found out that 45 kmph is the more apt speed for the top gear. It's still very impressive for it's segment, this J series 350cc engine doesn't make the most power and torque on paper but it's clever gearing makes it one of the most tractable engines (in it's class) out in the real world.

Re: 2021 Royal Enfield Classic 350. Edit - Launched at Rs. 1.84 lakhs

Test drove the Classic today, for about 8 kms.

Apart from the rear brakes, (felt wooden for me). Royal Enfield has simply nailed it.

Few things which I observed,

There is an ECO display in the screen, which comes on when driven sedately.

Apart from Trip 1 and 2, there is also a Trip F in the display. Don't know what it is for?

Even the standard seats are fantastic.

My wishlist is RE should bring the ELECTRA 350 in the same platform with 19" front and rear wheels, wider handle bar and a high seat.
