Here are the 10 colours of the scooter.

While the exact names of the colours will be announced at the imminent launch, there will be choices in matte and gloss shades from options in blue and black, the vibrant hues of red, pink and yellow, as well as white and silver.

All 10 colours look nice. The blue and pink had looked bad in the previous photos. But they're kind of growing on me and doesn't look as bad as it di in the beginning.

On the contrary, what I've been (connivingly) expecting is...

OLA prices the scooter around 1.2L & Ather suddenly will seem more attractive from atrocious pricing especially with the recent FAME-II subsidy

But practically speaking...I expect OLA to make an introductory offer around 1L for all the (test mules) first lot of scooters & subsequently increase the price to 1.2L later ironing out the niggling issues or may be even 1.3L with a delusionary increase in range leaving customer to ponder & perplexed which one to choose over other only to find another heart vs brain thread for Ather & Ola

Ola is building a 10 million per annum capacity plant. I doubt they will need more than 1 lakh capacity if they are gonna price it at Rs 1.2 lakhs or more. They need to price it similar to Activa or at least Activa 125cc model to get anywhere close to even 1 million sales per annum.

Ather is spending Rs 130 crore for a 1.1 lakh per annum plant. Hero Motocorp spent Rs 1,600 crores for a 1.8 million vehicle plant in AP recently. Ola electric already raised ~3,000 crores which is more than enough for millions of vehicles capacity. If they price it well, they won't need to spend money on traditional marketing (TV, print media, etc..) any time soon.

One good thing that I can see from the photos is that it is not a hub wheel motor. Those are the ones that Cheep Chinese ebikes use and they are not worth the money. Have they released any specs like the battery capacity, inclination, motor capacity etc?.

You are right about photoshop, particularly the blue one. I can clearly see slightly different blur where the stand is expected. The stand is seen through the red bike's wheel though.

Why there is a middle hump? If it's not flat, I think a major portion of the buyers is instantly gone as utility is a big factor for those who buy scooters. If I need to carry a box or even gas cylinder (It India in btw) the scooter with a middle bump is a no-go

IMHO, Ola launch is similar to Jio which disrupted the telecom industry and forced all the established player to dance on their tune.I believe, Ola strategy is sales maximization rather profit per unit. And Ola will compete with segment leader that is Activa not Ather which sells in a very small number. Ather is yet to launch in Tier 2 City. It is too early to predict but seems like Ola will create Tesla moment in India.
