Did anyone get the payment link?

I am yet to receive the link. I booked only by 4th Aug. I did get a few text messages with links to the terms and conditions page.

Nothing today (so far). There was an email yesterday with a link on how the purchase process will work. You can review it but to the best of my knowledge it doesn’t have a clickable link that takes the process forward. It’s just informational.

I didn't receive any message or payment link so far.

Meantime, I sent an email yesterday asking possible date in October the deliveries will begin and how it will be done, i.e. whether first preference given to major cities or strictly as per booking priority. Not received any reply so far.

Payment process is not enabled yet. I booked on 15th July !
The page shows your model selection / colour / variant and your profile.

They are suppose to release the Ola Electric App as well. I don't see that either in PlayStore / Appstore.

Ola S1 electric scooter goes on sale!

Ola Electric made its foray into the electric scooter segment last month with the launch of the S1 and S1 Pro e-scooters.

The prices for the Ola S1 start at Rs. 99,999 (ex-showroom). This includes the FAME II subsidy but does not include state subsidies. The company has partnered with multiple banks and institutions to offer financing options to customers. The EMI for the S1 e-scooter starts at Rs. 2,999.

The Ola S1 comes with a 2.98 kWh battery pack that powers a 'Hyperdrive motor' that has an output of 11 BHP and 58 Nm. It has a maximum range of 121 km. The battery can be recharged to 100% in 4 hours 48 minutes using a conventional charging port. With a fast charger, the scooter gets 75 km of range in just 18 minutes.

The Ola S1 Pro comes with a 3.97 kWh battery pack that offers a maximum range of 181 km. It can be recharged to 100% in 6 hours 30 minutes using a conventional charging port. With a fast charger, the scooter gets 75 km of range in 18 minutes.

Re: Ola's made-in-India Electric scooter, now launched at Rs. 99,999

I received an SMS from Ola yesterday with a link in it. Same link as in msg 438 above. Opening the link says purchase process will start on 8th September 6pm.

So we still have more than 6 hours remaining to start.

True it starts at 6pm, would've been helpful if OLA had informed buyers about the start time yesterday.

I see that the test rides dates have been updated on the website.

We are going to start test rides in major cities from 15th Oct 2021 onwards. Specific dates for different cities will be published soon. Keep your ears to the road!
So I that means vehicle deliveries will not be starting before 15th October.

By the way, they were supposed to release the Ola Electric App right? The earlier communication told that people can pay the advance amount today using Ola Electric App too. With just over 4 hours for the payments to begin...they should've released the app by now I feel.

Re: Ola's made-in-India Electric scooter, now launched at Rs. 99,999

I am willing to wait, not really worried about the delivery date. The plan is to only sell my dad's Activa 125 once we get the OLA.

Reminds one of the license raj days when procuring something like a Chetak was a test of once patience.

Re: Ola's made-in-India Electric scooter, now launched at Rs. 99,999

Tried to get into their site, but I think it doesn't seem to be working or I'm confused about the site. The site said reserve, but I've already reserved it. How will the payment process work? How about RTO formalities? I really wish they would put up something in their site for general information. The site is all about the scooter and reserve. The further process of delivery, insurance, RTO is unclear. Do any of our fellow BHPians have a better idea? Rgds, Balaji
