The rear looks like a toned version of the TVS icube. The boot space might be it's USP though.

The minimalist construct of the OLA electric scooter model publicised, makes me think it is intentionally done so, to keep the costs low and price smart (close to ICE scooters). A killer pricing, coupled with their hypercharger hubs all over cities might definitely bring some disruption in the scooter market.

I also feel, OLA might have some other tricks up its sleeves. One could be a rent-and-ride scooter model a few other companies are already doing, at least in Bengaluru (Ola app can easily accommodate this). Another could be a scooter lease program, that either very few or no one has attempted in the market, so far.

It seems they're planning to flood the market and also have scalable production capacity, business options ideally could be more than 1. A 150+kms range and attractive pricing can cause some concerns for Ather electric.

I really want to buy an electric scooter. It's nifty-ness, hassle free nature, NVH & performance are incomparable in the price range. The only reason I'm holding back myself from buying an Ather 450X or Bajaj Chetak is because of this OLA scooter.

I'm very eagerly waiting for it's launch.

An electric scooter will be a good way to enter the future word of electric mobility. Has lower costs, will always be ridden locally, will be easy to charge at multiple charging stations, also will always be in addition to the cars in the house.

Front suspension doesn't seem to be telescopic, I see a single down tube only.

Saw the scooter on test last Saturday, but since I was on scoter myself, couldn't click any pics.

The dimensions are compact, and the scooter looks good. Loved the headlight design. The rider was riding it pretty fast and was not slowing for potholes or other undulations. Seems like the scooter is able to handle our road conditions without much hassle.

Eagerly awaiting the launch of Ola Electric two wheeler. For some time now I've been wanting to replace mom's ageing 10 year old TVS Wego. I have been looking at Okinawa, Ather as well as iCube.
